Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time, Hourly contract
Reports to: CMO

Compensation: $50,000-$62,000

About the Role

We’re looking for a design-led, full-time marketing operator to own the creative execution and day-to-day growth channels of our brand. This role sits at the intersection of design, lifecycle marketing, and community-driven growth, and is critical to how we scale efficiently and consistently across markets.

This is not a narrow design role — and it’s not a junior social media role. You’ll lead our design execution, manage our email and CRM programs, and help drive organic growth through ambassadors, influencers, and partnerships.

If you’re someone who thinks visually first, cares deeply about brand consistency, and also understands how creative assets actually perform in market — this role is for you.

Core Responsibilities

1. Creative & Design Leadership (Primary)

Own Gladiator Tennis’s visual execution across all marketing touchpoints.

  • Lead design execution for:

    • Paid and organic social assets

    • Performance ads (Meta, Google, etc.)

    • Email and CRM templates

    • Website and landing pages (Shopify)

    • Flyers, signage, banners, business cards, and event materials

  • Maintain and evolve the brand system across markets

  • Iterate on reusable templates and asset systems to enable speed and consistency

  • Prepare and iterate creative for performance-based testing

  • Support light video and motion needs (short-form, resizing, captions)

  • Own creative QA and asset organization across campaigns and cities

2. Lifecycle Marketing & CRM Ownership

Own execution and optimization of player lifecycle communications.

  • Design and execute email campaigns and automated flows

  • Own email layout, hierarchy, and mobile-first conversion design

  • Manage segmentation, personalization, and journey logic

  • Monitor performance (open, CTR, conversion) and iterate

  • Ensure brand consistency across all lifecycle touchpoints

  • Maintain CRM hygiene (UTMs, naming conventions, attribution inputs)

  • Partner closely with the CMO on testing and optimization strategy

3. Content Systems & Organic Execution

Bring structure and consistency to our content ecosystem.

  • Design and schedule organic social content

  • Maintain visual and tonal consistency across platforms

  • Repurpose content efficiently across channels

  • Execute content aligned to campaigns, city launches, and seasonal moments

  • Collaborate with the CMO on campaign storytelling and messaging direction

Note: Strategic content planning is shared with the CMO; this role focuses on execution, systems, and creative direction.

4. Community, Influencer & UGC Programs

Support and scale community-driven growth initiatives.

  • Design creative assets and guidelines for ambassadors and partners

  • Support influencer and UGC campaign execution

  • Coordinate deliverables and timelines

  • Track engagement and content performance

  • Ensure brand alignment across partner-generated content

  • Help operationalize scalable UGC and microinfluencer systems

What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)

  • Our brand looks consistent, polished, and scalable across every channel

  • Creative assets ship quickly and perform better over time

  • Email and CRM become a reliable growth lever, not an afterthought

  • Social and ambassador content feels cohesive and intentional

  • The marketing team spends less time “fixing” assets and more time scaling

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years in a design-led marketing role

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital marketing design (ads, email, web, social)

  • Deep proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or equivalent tools

  • Experience designing for conversion (not just aesthetics)

  • Familiarity with Shopify and basic web design principles

  • Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM tools (Klaviyo preferred)

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance marketing creative

  • Light video or motion design experience

  • Experience working with ambassadors, creators, or community-driven brands

  • Tennis, sports, fitness, or lifestyle brand experience
